According to investigators, the woman contacted Russian intelligence via Telegram in December 2025. She was tasked with gathering information on Ukrainian defense positions, military facilities, and critical infrastructure, as well as coordinating missile and drone strikes.

In April 2026, she photographed a mobile air defense group in the city of Chornomorsk, Odesa region, and sent the images to her Russian contact. Later, she rented a hotel room overlooking the Kyiv Sea, a reservoir on the Dnipro River, and livestreamed the area for two weeks to help direct Russian attacks.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) believes the woman was involved in a major attack on Kyiv on May 24, 2026. The prosecutor’s office has charged her with high treason under martial law. The court ordered pre-trial detention without the possibility of bail.
