The Union parliamentary group in the Bundestag has sharply criticized the Left Party's announced constitutional complaint against the so-called heating law. According to Deutschlandfunk, deputy Union parliamentary group leader Sepp Müller rejected the Left Party's objections.

Deputy chairman of the Union parliamentary group, Sepp Müller, rejected the constitutional complaint against the Building Modernization Act announced by the Left Party. The Left Party wants to stop the law before the summer break via an urgent motion.

The so-called heating law had previously been criticized by several experts. The Left Party filed an expedited organizational complaint to prevent its entry into force. The Union considers the complaint unfounded and accuses the Left Party of blocking the law for political reasons.
