According to 24tv, the most experienced drone operators of the Ukrainian Armed Forces gathered in the Oblast for the Wild Drones competition. Nineteen of the strongest units competed against each other, not only to measure their skills but also to test cutting-edge technologies already being used in combat against the Russian army.
A highlight of the tournament was the demonstration of the P1-SUN interceptor drone model. The unmanned aircraft successfully engaged a target in the air, severing the rope with which another drone was pulling a balloon. Dozens of military personnel watched the maneuver and applauded the hit.
The participants, who fight daily on the front lines, this time faced off not against Russian troops but against each other—for the title of the best and for modern equipment for their units. One of the organizers, call sign “Grey,” emphasized the importance of such events for the development of Ukrainian drone warfare.
