In a speech on Sunday evening, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that no massive enemy attacks occurred on May 10. However, he reported ongoing Russian assaults in frontline areas, where Russian forces continue their offensive. Zelensky emphasized that there was no calm in the affected regions and that Russian troops remain active.
"There were over 150 attacks and more than a hundred shellings, as well as nearly ten thousand drone strikes," Zelensky said. He clarified that the Ukrainian forces will act "mirrored" in response to Russian attacks and will adapt to the situation.
According to Deutsche Welle, Ukraine refrained from extensive attacks on Russia on May 9 and 10, as there were no massive assaults from the Russians. However, Zelensky announced that Ukraine would take immediate and significant measures in the event of Russia returning to full-scale warfare.
