Ukraine's Defense Minister Fedorov has announced that Crimea will be isolated through drone strikes in the near future. According to Ukrainska Pravda, the Ministry of Defense is pursuing a strategy of logistical blockade.

In the first four months of 2026, the ministry contracted 300 percent more medium-range strike drones (Middle Strike) than in all of 2025, Fedorov said. The attacks cut supply lines and created a ‘logistics lockdown’ that opens a ‘window of opportunity.’

Fedorov emphasized a direct link between strikes on logistics and reduced assault actions on the front line. Without supplies, Russian troops cannot sustain their offensive capability. The ‘Logistics Lockdown’ program is designed to persistently disrupt the occupiers’ supply.

In parallel, Fedorov held talks with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, his British counterpart John Healey, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Ahead of the next Ramstein meeting, the focus was on air defense, artillery ammunition, and drones. Fedorov demanded that every decision by partners must precisely match the needs of the front line.
