In the Russian-occupied city of Sevastopol in Crimea, strict restrictions come into force on June 22 and 23. The so-called governor Mikhail Razvozhayev announced the decision of the operational staff on Sunday evening. According to the order, no fuel will be sold at gas stations on both days – only vehicles of special services that maintain the city’s infrastructure may refuel.

Public transport will run only between 5:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Ferries are suspended, only passenger boats remain in operation. Large retail outlets such as shopping centers, supermarkets, and hypermarkets will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., cafes and restaurants from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Street lighting will be turned off. Due to overload of power grids outside Sevastopol, temporary blackouts are possible.

All street events are banned from June 22 until further notice. The measures follow earlier reports of power outages and fuel shortages in occupied Crimea. The Russian occupiers had previously restricted gasoline sales to representatives of the occupation administration.
