The US government has again allowed the release of Anthropic’s AI model ‘Mythos 5’ for selected companies. This came after a two-week block that had been imposed at the government’s request. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said that Anthropic had cooperated with the government to address risks.
For companies not on the list of trusted partners, the restrictions remain in place. Anthropic had previously blocked its most advanced models ‘Mythos 5’ and ‘Fable 5’ for all users.
