The attack took place in October 2025 in downtown Hamburg. Two men assaulted a passerby and kicked him in the head. The victim suffered swelling and bleeding wounds to the head and face.
The Hamburg Regional Court has now sentenced one of the perpetrators to four years in prison. The second defendant, a 22-year-old, was given a two-year suspended sentence. The exact motives behind the crime remained unclear in the court’s ruling.
