The two men were arrested on Thursday evening and early Friday morning and are now in pretrial detention. The 40-year-old is accused of giving drugs to a 15-year-old and an 18-year-old. The 21-year-old is alleged to have raped both girls in an apartment. The 18-year-old was injured and treated in a hospital; both victims are receiving psychological care, police said.
This is not the first such incident. Police in Nuremberg have been investigating for some time with a special task force named “Kajal” in the area around the main train station, targeting suspected drug dealers believed to be responsible for sexual assaults on customers, some of whom are minors. The two latest arrests bring the total to nine and ten in the complex, a police spokesperson said. Investigations are continuing “unabated.”
