The adjustments concern the operation of businesses and institutions under various threat levels, as well as the organization of logistics and transport, including the metro. Koretskyi said concrete proposals are being developed to adapt the state’s work to the new conditions. Prolonged air raid alarms affect not only people’s safety but also businesses, logistics, schools, and kindergartens.
The Prime Minister stressed that the enemy is trying to paralyze economic activity in the capital and major cities. Therefore, approaches and response algorithms must also change. The goal is better protection of people and the ability to live in cities and communities.
In addition, approaches to curfew and civilian access to faster information about air threats are to be reviewed, without adding security risks. The proposals are expected to be finalized early next week and presented to the public.
The extended meeting was attended by the Commander-in-Chief, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the State Emergency Service, the Mayor of Kyiv, as well as representatives of the Presidential Office and the National Security and Defense Council.
