The Building Modernization Act (GModG) is currently going through the parliamentary process and is close to being passed. Still open is how the linked “Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings” (BEG) will be adapted to the new law – a crucial question for many homeowners.

The exact conditions of future funding have not yet been set. Numerous proposals are circulating on how subsidies for heating system replacements could be structured. So far, only one thing is clear: the federal government wants to provide funds for the heat transition over several years.
