The bridge in Sabivka was considered a critical railway logistics hub between the occupied Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The Telegram channel “Exilenova+” released footage on Sunday showing extensive damage to the structure. According to the accompanying report, the bridge was attacked by Ukrainian forces on June 26.
The attack is part of an intensified systematic campaign by Ukrainian forces to cut off Russian troops from their supply lines. On June 23, Ukrainian special forces completely destroyed the railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal near the village of Rozdolne. Drone footage showed precise strikes that destroyed the track and collapsed a section of the bridge. A second attack later hit Russian repair equipment on site.
On June 21, Ukrainian forces struck the railway bridge over the Syvash River in Chonhar, disrupting the important Novooleksiivka-Dzhankoi railway line connecting southern Ukraine to Crimea. On June 20, Ukrainian drone units attacked the road bridge over the Henichesk Street. Further attacks on railway bridges in the Rozdolne and Vladyslavivka areas were confirmed on June 19.
