Ukrainian forces have caused a fuel shortage through targeted strikes on Russian logistics in occupied Crimea. As UNIAN reports, military expert Pavlo Narozhnyi said on Radio NV that the blockade of supply routes will translate into successes at the front. “We see strikes on various components, on oil depots – the geographic range is enormous,” Narozhnyi said.

According to the expert, nearly 60 to 70 percent of traffic on the transport route from Rostov to occupied Crimea has been destroyed. Fuel shortages are rampant in the occupied territories of Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, and the southern part of Oblast. “That means logistics have come to a standstill,” Narozhnyi emphasized.

The expert acknowledged that the logistical success has not yet fully translated into a military advantage. Ukrainian forces have advanced in southern Ukraine, albeit slowly. “Near Kherson on the islands, we have recaptured positions; the number of attacks toward Orikhiv and Mala Tokmachka has significantly decreased,” Narozhnyi said. He expressed confidence that the logistical success will eventually turn into successes on the battlefield.
