As T-online reports, Scotland ended a drought of over 35 years with the 1-0 win against Haiti: it was the first World Cup victory since 1990. John McGinn scored the opener in the 28th minute in Boston.

Haiti, which had to play without its own fans due to a US entry ban, held its own for long stretches and created chances but lacked luck in front of goal. The Caribbean underdog now faces Brazil. Scotland tops Group C and can again count on its traveling supporters against Morocco – around 30,000 Scots turned Boston into a party zone.
