Singer Harry Styles (32) beat the previous record held by the band Coldplay, who played ten nights at the arena in 2025. Originally only six shows were planned, but due to high demand the series was extended. The final concert took place on Saturday in front of around 80,000 fans.
Unlike on earlier tours, Styles performed exclusively in London during his UK leg. At the finale, he looked back on his career and paid tribute to his time in One Direction. “I wouldn’t be on this stage if it weren’t for four friends of mine,” Styles said. He thanked Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and remembered Liam Payne, who died in 2024 at the age of 31.
Wembley Stadium honored the record with a special banner before the final concert. “12 Shows. One Record. A place in Wembley history,” the stadium wrote on X. Styles started his Wembley shows on June 12. Since his solo debut in 2017, he has won six Brit Awards and three Grammys. His fourth studio album “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally” was released in March.
After the London concerts, Styles continues his tour in Brazil, Mexico and the USA. The final leg will be in Australia in December.
