Zverev, who will become world number two behind the injured Carlos Alcaraz on Monday, was dominant on Centre Court. In the second set, he broke Fery twice, and in the third set one break was enough for a 6:4 final score after 2 hours and 13 minutes.
For the 23-year-old Fery, ranked 114th in the world, who had surprisingly made it to the semi-finals, his impressive tournament run came to an end. Zverev will face the winner of the match between Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic in the final.
