In more than 70 Russian attacks on several places in eleven communities of the Sumy region, a woman was killed within a single day. The military administration of the Sumy region announced this on Telegram, as reported by the news agency Ukrinform.
In the Buryn community, a 31-year-old woman was killed by a strike on the grounds of a farm, and an 18-year-old was injured. According to the administration, three women aged 65, 54 and 61 suffered an acute stress reaction. In the Hlukhiv community, on the morning of 24 October, a 74-year-old woman was treated for an acute stress reaction after the impact of a Russian drone. In the Boromlia community, after a drone struck a car, three women aged 68, 56 and 36 were injured.
According to the administration, the Russian army used artillery, mortars, FPV drones, drones, guided aerial bombs and missiles. In the Buryn community, the farm building was destroyed, livestock was killed and injured, and a car was damaged. Damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure was reported, among other places, in the Hlukhiv, Seredyna-Buda and Stepanivka communities; in total, damage was recorded in eleven communities.
