Customers of 1&1 have been unable to access the company’s cloud app for several months. The app, which is used to store and synchronize files, cannot be opened on many devices or fails to upload data. Affected users report repeated error messages and unsuccessful attempts to contact customer service in forums.
The cloud app is part of 1&1’s package for private and business customers. The outage only affects a portion of the user base. In recent weeks, there have been similar disruptions to other 1&1 services, but they were resolved after a short time.
