The four-star event in Luhmühlen also serves as the German championship. The international five-star competition is also in focus, featuring a strong British field including Harry Meade and defending champion Rosalind Canter.

Krajewski, individual Olympic champion from 2021, said: “Luhmühlen is one of our important preparation tournaments ahead of the World Championship in Aachen and also one of my favorite events.” The eventing World Championship will take place from August 13 to 16 as part of the World Equestrian Games.

NDR will broadcast the cross-country and jumping competitions live on TV and online on Saturday and Sunday. Two German riders, Katharina Meyer and Heike Jahncke, will make their five-star debut.
