President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Facebook that the enemy had launched more than 70 missiles and over 280 attack drones against Ukraine. According to Ukrinform, eight people were killed nationwide in the attack, and dozens were wounded.

The city of Radushne in the Dnipro region was hit particularly hard: a ballistic missile destroyed a residential building, killing both parents and three children. Two other children were rescued alive from the rubble. Rescue operations are also underway in Lviv, where more than 20 residential buildings, a school, and two kindergartens were damaged.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported a massive combined attack involving drones as well as air-, ground-, and sea-launched missiles. Zelensky stressed that Ukraine suffers from a critical shortage of interceptor missiles: “If the supply of missiles for air defense systems is delayed or fails to arrive.” He thanked the partners who are actually providing help.
