The building department is carrying out safety maintenance on the Brudermühltunnel. From Monday, July 6, to Friday, July 10, the underpass will be closed each night between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Car traffic will be diverted via the surface roads.
Overall, work will be carried out in the 1.6-kilometer-long tunnel, which opened in 1988, over 72 nights this year. Such maintenance work takes place regularly in all tunnels on the Mittlerer Ring.
The closure adds to other restrictions: The Luise-Kiesselbach-Tunnel is being renovated for a month due to a truck fire two years ago, and the Donnersbergerbrücke and the bridge over Dachauer Straße are also affected.
